I was thrilled to see #DUKEFOX the other night for

I was thrilled to see #DUKEFOX the other night for the first time in 6 or 7 months. Duke has now been the longest fox neighbor I have known! While many remember #SarahtheFox, I only knew her for the last 4 years of her life (according to the neighbors whose property has the den she used, she was at least 10 years old when she died). Duke was Sarah’s mate the last winter of her life in 2018, and I have now known Duke for nearly 5 years! It’s remarkable to have such long lived fox-neighbors, as though they are capable of living 12+ years, they typically only survive 3-4 years. Keep on keeping on Duke! 🦊
