I’m Erica (or Birdseed, depending on who you ask). I am a habitual wilderness-seeker currently living in the Rocky Mountains outside of Denver with my husband, 2 Great Danes, 4 cats, and 2 Eclectus parrots. I have lived in too many places, in all corners of this country, and grew up bi-coastal between California and Massachusetts…I still consider them both my home. Colorado and I are still getting to know each other – but so far, our new relationship is going strong.

The things that make me, me: hiking, my music collection, photography, painting, swimming, whole food plant based eating (WFPB), snow, cooking, the Utah high desert, playing guitar, thunderstorms, the Sierras, fireworks, designing and developing websites (like this one), snowboarding, living vegan, Giant Sequoias, compulsively cleaning, speaking up for animals, seeing all of the things I’ve never seen, and trying to live compassionately and thoughtfully.
